Still winter and cold at our place, and the lip balms are so popular, to the joy of all dry lips!
We have now received more, to stock up. The most popular so far, have been Peppermint Lemongrass, Spiced Chai and Orange Bergamot.
But now, we are adding two new fresh flavors: Limeade and Mint Chocolate
Here is how the manufacturer Crazy Rumors describe them:
Mint Chocolate - Soothing peppermint meets irresistible chocolate!
Limeade - Lemon's envious cousin - blissfully tart!
Tar candles in two sizes. Light one or more candles up, and close your eyes. The memories of summer, and newly tarred boats pop up. Very much needed in this cold and dark time...
Molded from 100% candle wax and kiln burned pure tar.
Light a candle on the patio during summer evenings and you get rid of the mosquitos.
The large candle is molded in a frosted glass jar that has a lid for when the candle is not lit. The small one in a cute glass.
Stevia is now approved in USA, Australia, New Zeeland, and France, and is expected for approval in the EU soon.
As a consumer, it is easy to conclude: "Well, it was about time," and that all is well now: Stevia is wholesome, good, and approved. And now we can buy it all, from dried leaves to extract, as well as foods sweetened with Stevia. Well, it's not really like that, unfortunately…
We have now produced our own and different product: Dried peppermint leaves with a strong and complex flavour. You can order them here.
In Latin: Eucalyptus radiata var. piperita
Naturally organically grown. Then air dried. Then coursely but gently ground by hand in a mortar.
Our mint plants grow together, so they create a wonderful mix of about 5 different species, since they easily create "hybrids" by cross-breeding. Thus, the flavour is more complex and interesting than species-specific ones. Very suitable for tea and baking. Very good in our Yerba Mate!
Use the coursely ground leaves directly in a tea-pot, and the leaves will stay in the pot - or grind them more for use in e.g. baking.
